SeamTrue Fit Lab is educational pattern geometry for home sewists. It is not a commercial grading service, a substitute for a fitting class, or a warranty that fabric will behave. Always test on scrap.

Where are my measurements stored?

On this device only. There is no account and no cloud sync. Uninstalling or clearing app storage removes blocks, favorites, and drills.

How do I switch cm and inches?

Open Practice → Settings and choose Metric (cm) or Imperial (in). Bench numbers and cut sheets follow that unit system.

How do I stop lab tip reminders?

Settings → Lab tip reminders, or deny notifications in Android system settings. The bench and studio still work offline.

Can I share a cut sheet?

Yes. Export a PDF (or bitmap) through the system share sheet. Sharing is your action — we do not upload the file for you.

The ease looks off for my fabric.

Silhouette presets (close, fitted, semi, loose, oversized) are workshop starting points. Knit stretch and nap matching change the result. Email a screenshot plus bust/waist/hip and silhouette if something looks broken.

This policy explains how SYRENKO-DEV (“we”, “publisher”) handles information in SeamTrue Fit Lab (package com.trolingerbazantuj.seamtruefitlab).

1. Who we are

The Google Play account holder and data controller for this app is SYRENKO-DEV. Contact: trolingerbazantuj453@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

SeamTrue Fit Lab processes measurements on-device. There is no account, no network sync, and no analytics upload.

Information that stays on your phone may include:

Body measures and fit blocks (bodice, skirt, trouser) you save or favorite.
Dart layouts, notes, and practice drill progress.
Preferences: units, lab tip reminders, dark theme, onboarding.
Temporary PDF or bitmap files created when you share a cut sheet.

The home-screen widget can show a snapshot of your latest favorite block. It does not send that snapshot to us.

Google Play and Android may process install, crash, or device statistics under Google’s policies when you use Play. That processing is by Google, not by a publisher server we run.

If Android Auto Backup is enabled, the system may include app data in the user’s backup. We do not receive a copy of that backup.

3. How on-device data is used

To compute educational pattern geometry and ease.
To keep your bench, studio layouts, and library bookmarks.
To schedule optional local lab tip reminders.
To refresh the widget with a local favorite-block snapshot.
To build a cut sheet when you tap Share.

4. Permissions

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS). Optional daily sewing-geometry tips. You may refuse or later disable them. The lab still works.

Sharing a PDF or bitmap uses Android FileProvider so another app you pick can read that one file. We do not browse your photo library or contacts.

Sharing a PDF or bitmap uses the system share sheet you choose. That destination’s privacy rules then apply. We do not intercept that transfer on a publisher server.

6. Retention and deletion

On-device data remains until you delete a block, clear app storage, or uninstall. To remove support email we hold, write us and we will delete correspondence that is no longer needed for a support thread, subject to any legal retention duty.

7. Children

The app is a home-sewing study aid. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child wrote to us by email, contact us and we will delete that mail.

8. Your choices

Use the app without an account.
Turn off lab tip reminders or deny notification permission.
Delete blocks, or clear storage / uninstall.
Email us about support mail we received.

Depending on your country or state, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Because we do not run a user-account backend, most in-app data is only on your device — you control it there.

9. Terms of use (short)

By using SeamTrue Fit Lab you agree to use it as educational pattern geometry for home sewing. Content is provided as-is. Results are workshop starting points, not a commercial grading certificate or a guarantee of fit. Classroom and personal use of exported cut sheets is permitted; redistribution of the app binary remains subject to store terms.

If the app later adds network features or a new store listing, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date.
